I have come to the conclusion that we are all insane. Rachel (which I am very certain is not her real name) decided that we need to sneak into a villa belonging to Prince Villinova. Well technically speaking it was his wife's villa, but on Vodocce there is little difference. I understand why she wanted to do this. The object was to rescue her mother. Apparently, I am not the only one with a prestigious father. Amazingly enough we succeeded in this Endeavour although I'm not quite sure how. I do fear that Luc was most distressed at the destruction of a rather lovely stained glass window. But it got us out of the house and we didn't have to climb down another chimney.
I would rather leave Vodacce at this point but Rachel is insisting that we go to the Festival of Spiders. She thinks that we can match wits in subtlety and subterfuge with Prince Villanova. He is only the most notorious and visouse man in all of Vodocce, as well as the best swordsman. He held his own wife prisoner. That tells you a lot about the character of a man. Rachel wants to see if he has any crystals to the gate but I think that sending Blyes to try to sell him a fake of one is not a good idea. I can only hopethat once again Theaus will be with us. I know that fate will be both for and against us. It is Vodacce after all.
